My little girls turned 9! For their birthday celebration, they helped me make a yellow cake with pink frosting and a strawberry-blueberry cobbler. I forgot to take a picture before the desserts were both half-eaten.
I'm still knitting! I hope to post a couple of pictures soon. One ball of yarn is used up and I'm halfway through another. I didn't realize until I counted on a calendar that I spent a solid three weeks being sick, so I tried to do as little as possible this weekend.

We had a freak dump of snow the other week and no one quite knows what to do! We just come home from work and flop on the couch with our phones. It was exhausting

I spent a lot of the day driving. Since tonight was the usual meeting for the spinners and weavers guild I belong to, I did get some crafting done. Unfortunately, I gave the ornaments I made to the Sister who found us a free place to meet

Got a little work in today. Sewed the tie straps for the top and basted those and the top half of the top. The bottom half is pinned, but I just realized I pinned it wrong, so I'll be repinning it before I sew it tomorrow.
